In brief

Vehicles stand on top of each other instead of side by side.

A fully automated parking garage for commercial vehicles: the driver hands the vehicle over at ground level and walks away. The system lifts it to its level and parks it there. Scheduled or on demand, it is waiting at the bottom again. No driving aisles, no ramps, no shunting.

Two systems

Tower or Stack: the difference in five points

Both stack commercial vehicles, both are available for trucks and for buses. The difference lies in the lifting technology, and that decides everything else. You will find the same five points on both system pages.
