Commercial land is scarce. So is parking.

Every growing business needs parking, and parking needs land that is no longer there. Stacking holds both together.

Three questions on the table

Economic development and planning departments face the same contradiction: businesses should stay and grow, but there should be no new land.

The business wants to grow, the land is gone

Without room to expand, the business moves to the edge of town or to the next municipality.

Our answer Four levels instead of one. The business stays where it is and the yard is big enough again.

Every new parking space is sealed ground

Parking spaces are land take, and land take has to be justified.

Our answer Construction is on ground that was paved long ago. The additional spaces add not one square metre of soil.

Compensation costs time and money

New sealed ground means compensation measures, and those delay the procedure.

Our answer What is not newly sealed does not have to be compensated. That shortens the procedure exactly where it takes longest.

What this does for the municipality

  • Businesses stay put

No move to the edge of town, no business tax moving with it.

  • Soil stays unsealed

The additional parking is created upwards, not outwards.

  • Less traffic in town

Anyone who does not have to drive to a second site does not drive through town either.

  • Charging without new land

Charging infrastructure sits at the parking spaces inside the facility instead of on an area of its own.

  • Two designs

The enclosed building or the open structure, whichever suits the site.

  • Possible in stages

The Stack grows column by column. The investment follows demand.

For your business forum

If land scarcity is on your agenda, we will present the system to a group of local businesses.

We come to a business forum, a trade association or a meeting at the authority and show in twenty minutes what a Tower is, what a Stack is, which vehicles they are designed for and how much area a business needs. After that there is time for questions.

We can bring renderings, construction drawings and a film. What we cannot bring is off-the-shelf pricing: that depends on the layout, the fleet and the number of levels.

Images and films are on the download page and may be used under the conditions stated there.
